Always delightful, that Monday after the Super Bowl. I always have the feeling that the internet only consists of a complete post-game discussion: how was the halftime show, who was there, what all happened? This year, for the first time, I could name a team that participated (The Kansas City Chiefs) and I knew who won (once again The Kansas City Chiefs). Oh, and I could also name a player: Travis Kelce of course. A year ago, I, along with many Swifties, had never heard of this man, but now we are all in love with him.
And of course, Taylor Swift was also there, with her bestie Blake Lively. Now Taylor looked amazing, but many eyes were on Blake; her hair looked fantastic (those curls!) and she stood out in her bright red Adidas suit. Who would have thought that a tracksuit could be so fashionable? Well, leave that to Blake.
But before you start searching online for such a red Adidas pants: hers was not just any pair. This was actually a collaboration between Adidas and Balenciaga that came out at the end of 2022. Part of that was these pants, which you can unzip and which have built-in stiletto boots. So you actually have two pieces of clothing for the price of one. Can we justify the price tag of €3000 a bit this way? The matching jacket is slightly cheaper, namely €1800.
So should we go for Taylor's look then? She wore jeans from Area (the Crystal Cutout Slit Straight Leg Jeans) and a top from Dion Lee. With also a spicy price tag: the pants cost $685 and the top $720. So a little more saving for both looks...
