For those who might have missed it: the 81st edition of the Venice Film Festival 2024 has kicked off. Joker: Folie à Deux, Queer, Beetlejuice, and Babygirl (of course!) along with all the main actors are present, which means fashion-wise splendor to the max. All Hollywood stars (read: Angelina Jolie, Lady Gaga, Nicole Kidman, Eva Green, Hoyeon Jung, Sophie Wilde, Camila Mendes, Lili Reinhart, Taylor Russell, and of course our Dutchie Halina Reijn) were in attendance. What were they wearing? And why is everyone talking about Angelina Jolie's hands since she appeared on the red carpet? We'll catch you up here in just a few minutes. Because although you probably saw the ‘I love you’ moment between Nicole Kidman and Halina Reijn on your socials this morning, there were of course many more highlights on the red carpet at the Lido di Venezia.

The award-winning looks according to us? Nicole, Nicole, and once again Nicole in her stunning Schiaparelli creation, Angelina Jolie in her various looks, including a dress by Tamara Ralph, a beauty of a semi-transparent dress à la Saint Laurent, and her trench coat that everyone would love to copy-paste into their own wardrobe. But especially her hands, which drew a lot of attention on the red carpet. Why? They stood out quite a bit here... Pretty is, let's say, very different... Let's at least hope that it is indeed healthy and just a sign of aging. Who else? Halina Reijn in a beauty of a dress from the bridal collection of the Dutch fashion house Claes Iversen, Eva Green, Lili Reinhart, and Camila Mendes in Armani, Hoyeon Jung in Louis Vuitton, and of course...
