This 00’s boy band is making an official comeback now

Since TikTok has become the main news medium for children around the age of 12, it often happens that I suddenly hear songs that make my nostalgic heart beat faster. Sometimes you completely forget that those songs exist, but they always have the same effect. As soon as you hear that music, you think: ‘Oh yes, I used to play this when I…’, which you can further fill in with your own significant life moment, like falling in love for the first time.
The fact that these kinds of songs constantly come up on TikTok and are sung and hummed by everyone usually happens when it’s really a good TikTok trend. But now it’s even the case that one of our favorite 00’s boybands is making an official comeback in the Billboard top 10! Of course, I’m talking about *NSYNC. The song ‘Bye bye bye’ is being used in the movie ‘Deadpool 3’, which suddenly confronts the younger generation (OMG, I feel old!) with this song. And apparently, it’s already a classic hit for Gen Z.
The guys from *NSYNC have been spotted together more often lately, so maybe they are planning to breathe new life into the band. I hope they skip that. It would be a shame if they ruin their legacy with new songs that probably just can’t meet our expectations. Recently, they released ‘Better Place’ for the new ‘Trolls’ movie. That song didn’t get higher than 40 in the Billboard top 100, which is quite poor for *NSYNC standards. Whether the band will go on tour remains a bit unclear, but Justin is at least on his way to us solo. He will be performing for three nights at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam starting tomorrow.
