You never expected this friendship with Adele

What is it like to be famous? You probably only understand that if you experience it yourself. Maybe that's why so many celebs are friends with each other. Although you don't always see some of those friendships coming. We gathered the most notable celebrity best friends, which we secretly envy a little.
Kris Jenner and Jennifer Lawrence
Kris Jenner may be twice as old as Jennifer Lawrence; yet the reality star and the actress are good friends. They met in 2015; Kris surprised Jennifer with a cake while she was celebrating her 25th birthday, being a big fan of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’. From that moment on, the two kept in touch. Jennifer regularly visits the Kardashians and even had a cameo in their series. That they are still good friends after almost ten years was evident at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in March. Here too, the besties sought each other out. If we are to believe Kris, Jennifer now feels a bit like her daughter; maybe even her favorite.
Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart
This remains a favorite, because who would have expected this combination: lifestyle guru Martha Stewart and rapper Snoop Dogg. In 2008, Snoop was a guest on ‘The Martha Stewart Show’ to make mashed potatoes together; a year later he returned for brownies. They were then seen in the roast of Justin Bieber, ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, and in 2016 they got a cooking show together. According to Snoop, their bond is unique. “I've never met anyone like Martha Stewart. When we come together, it's a natural combination of love, peace, and harmony.” The rapper spoke about their special bond in Martha's latest documentary; a friendship that has now lasted over fifteen years.
Eminem and Elton John
An even longer friendship is that of Eminem and Elton John. During the 2001 GRAMMY Awards, they sang the rapper's song ‘Stan’ together. Eminem had previously been criticized for homophobia, which is why the two decided to end their performance hand in hand. A powerful statement and the beginning of their bond. Elton has since played an important role in the rapper's life, who struggled with addiction for years. During his recovery, the singer called every day to check on him. He was greeted with the words: “Hello, you bastard.”
Courteney Cox and Ed Sheeran
In 2013, Ed Sheeran was introduced to Friends actress Courteney Cox through a mutual friend. Ed played some songs for all the guests that evening and even stayed over because he lived far away. The actress promised him that he could always come back. A while later, he did; he lived with her in Malibu for three months while working on his album. He didn't have to pay rent; helping out with household chores occasionally was enough. The stay created a strong bond, both personally and professionally. Courteney even sang background vocals for Ed's albums ‘Equals’ and ‘Divide’. And still, every time he is in LA, they seek each other out.
Gwen Stefani and Angelina Jolie
Angelina Jolie is still very attached to her privacy despite her popularity, even when it comes to friendships. She has a close circle of friends, and one of them is Gwen Stefani. They met in 1998, but their friendship really began in 2006. The main reason: they both became mothers one day apart. And two years later, they were both pregnant at the same time. With children of the same age, playdates were quickly planned. Another similarity between the two: they both divorced their partners a year apart. This difficult period at least brought them something positive: an even stronger bond.
Harry Styles and Stevie Nicks
This duo also proves that an age difference (of 46 years) in a friendship doesn't matter. Their meeting is somewhat reminiscent of that of Kris Jenner and Jennifer Lawrence; here too, a cake was the key to friendship. Harry has been a fan of the band Fleetwood Mac, with whom Stevie often collaborated, since he was young. When he was at a concert of theirs in 2015, she surprised him for his birthday. The two have had a loving bond since then and see each other as musical inspiration. For Stevie, Harry is even the son she never had.
Adele and Drake
Adele's album ‘30’ was, of course, a huge success. But before she released this gem, she sought advice from one of her best friends: rapper Drake. A year before the release, she played the album for him. The, perhaps unexpected, friendship is very valuable to Adele. “One of the reasons I enjoy being friends with him is that I have access to someone who really knows what it's like to be you and those kinds of things.” Fortunately, the love is mutual; Drake calls Adele one of his best friends in the world. May we join this friendship, please?
