This is B&B's most ‘red flag moment’ so far

Albert is really showing off his charm. And the fact that I could never fall for him is certain. But that happens more often, because tastes differ, and fortunately not everyone is only attracted to the same types. That would make the world very boring. No, luckily we have people like Albert and Joyce. Because these two really understand each other perfectly. That was noticeable at the moment when Joyce came in to serve ‘her’ Albert, as dutiful as ever. She came in sad, because she wanted to be with her mother, who wasn't doing so well. Of course, we all hope that things are better now, and it makes sense that she left for the Netherlands for a while to be with her mother during that difficult time. It's more about the moment that followed her announcement.

Because there was a moment that was so cringe-worthy that I could hardly watch it. It literally gave me a stomach ache, I wanted to turn off the TV and needed a moment to recover from the idea that this happens. That people say these kinds of things to each other. Because you know it's true, but seeing it happen right in front of you is something else. What I'm talking about? The moment when Joyce and Albert stare into each other's eyes as if it's a scene in a romcom, where they are both acting together. That already made it quite theatrical, but the lines that followed I fortunately hadn't heard in a movie before. At least, they are not lines you normally hear in a romantic film. More like lines you hear in movies that have an 18+ warning and that you definitely don't watch because the characters are wearing such nice outfits, if you know what I mean.

I have never been able to understand why people call each other ‘daddy’ and ‘mommy’. I just don't understand why you would want to eroticize those words for yourself. Maybe that's just me, but I find it strange. And especially when there is such an age difference. That Albert says to the woman he is in love with, and maybe has already shared a bed with (the fact that he wants to is certain), ‘I want to be your daddy’. I don’t know. If I had to choose, I would rather go for Karel with his childish handstand in the pool, or one of the Captain Peter's. Although I would of course prefer to go for the emotionally unavailable Mike, because he at least fits my type in looks. As long as I don't hear anyone calling each other daddy and mommy.
