This is how you physically know if you are in love
And it has nothing to do with butterflies

Not being able to eat, not being able to sleep, constantly having butterflies in your stomach... If all goes well, you know this feeling: you are in love. But did you know that you don't necessarily have to feel butterflies in your stomach to be in love? A recent study from Aalto University in Finland has focused on unraveling the feelings that love brings and reveals surprising outcomes regarding the places where we can feel the sensations of infatuation and sexual tension even more.
The study examined no less than 27 different types of love (such as platonic, romantic, and sexual) and found that you can experience romantic love in multiple parts of the body. Your heart, head, and stomach can all be quite upset when you are struck by the lightning bolt of love. This is because your brain has to process an overload of emotions and endorphins. As a result, you might think a lot about someone or feel as if your head is literally in the clouds, you feel a strange sensation in your upper stomach or stomach that makes it hard to eat, and your heart can literally skip a beat or just feel a bit odd. All-encompassing, romantic love is a feeling that you can feel throughout your entire body.
The latter will probably not surprise you, but when it comes to sexual tension, it seems to manifest primarily in your lower abdomen. This is due to connections from your lower abdomen to your pelvic area. So if you feel the attraction between you and your date only in this area? Then it is likely that you find each other very attractive but there is no love in the game. Are there more parts of your body affected? Then love is indeed in the air.
