This is really a nightmare vacation

over de oceaan

One of the things I love in the summer is sitting on a boat, preferably in the Mediterranean, where there are no waves and you can see straight through the water. I don't necessarily need to jump off that boat; the fear of the depth is too great for that. Just sitting back and enjoying without doing anything is totally my thing.

I hope that Caroline Tensen, André Dongelmans, Nicolette Kluijver, Kees Tol, Roxane Knetemann, and Roelof Hemmen didn't think they would be making such a trip when they agreed to the program ‘Over De Oceaan’. There is almost no greater contrast to the image I just painted.

The promo immediately promises terrible scenarios: being stuck with this peculiar group of people on a boat in the middle of the ocean. But then also having to cook, eat, sleep, and shower while trying with all your might not to capsize that boat. I don't think I would be very relaxed about that. Yet they are doing it, a three-week journey across the Atlantic Ocean, with no land in sight on the horizon.

The transition from the gentle Bachelor drama will be enormous, but I am quite looking forward to seeing how quickly the irritations will escalate with so many people in such a small space. Starting May 16, there will be an episode on Videoland every week, and we can then enjoy the drama that will undoubtedly arise in this pressure cooker without any shame.
