This is the only thing that really helps against cellulite

Summer means a lot of bare legs around you. If you are a bit aware of your cellulite, that can be quite confronting. It seems like everyone has perfect legs, and you are the only one with the dimples of orange peel skin on your legs. In reality, that is of course not really the case. There are many people who suffer from cellulite, but you just don't see it as clearly in everyone as you do in yourself. If you really don't want to show bare legs because you are too aware of your small imperfections, it is quite nice to be able to do something about it.
This is how I started my search for an effective strategy. I was mainly focused on addressing the small imperfections, which I wanted to prevent from getting worse. In the case of cellulite, it is better to start as soon as you see the first signs, because that is naturally the best time to treat it. The most obvious option was a connective tissue massage. At the salon I ended up at, I eventually managed to endure three treatments. This was the classic method: wooden tools that completely torture you, and some cupping to top it off. The first two times were still bearable. But the third time it felt like the masseur had been replaced by an executioner trying to break my legs. Result: two weeks of extremely purple legs, which gradually turned yellow, but that took a very long time. Especially in the week when it became 35 degrees.
I could hardly imagine that in 2024 we are still reliant on some kind of medieval torture devices. So after some googling, I found out that there are indeed much better solutions available now. That solution is called LPG endermologie. It is not cheap, but it is not much different from the old-fashioned way. You get a kind of baby suit for the treatment, which helps the device to get a better grip on the areas to be treated. The device sucks up a piece of skin, just strong enough to activate the connective tissue, but the device keeps gliding over the skin. So it is not like you are completely sucked in one spot for a minute. And the best news is: you can literally have your whole body treated. I only came for my legs, but you can also include your stomach, buttocks, and arms. The device also helps with sculpting: so you immediately get those nice curves back. This treatment is also a connective tissue massage, but because it is done with a kind of suction device, the pressure on each part remains the same, instead of the pressure and force varying per leg as when done by human hands.
A few important standard tips: drink 1.5 to 2 liters of water every day, exercise twice a week, and eat as little sugar as possible. These three things also greatly contribute to the effectiveness of the treatments. In the beginning, they recommend scheduling a treatment twice a week, this way the process gets off to a good start. After that, it is good to continue with the treatments by regularly scheduling a maintenance session. And the most important thing is that you will feel good enough to dare to show your legs to the world again.
