This hack exposes cheaters

If you grew up with Disney movies, there's a good chance that a monogamous relationship is your ideal image. That's how you envision your love life. But like in every fairy tale, there is also an evil witch. In the movie, that is usually a mean aunt or something, but in real life, that evil witch can be someone like ‘the other woman’: the one who steals your beloved. You can't prevent it, because if someone wants to cheat, they will look for the easiest options, it doesn't have to be that one very handsome colleague. However, it remains quite confronting when you think you are in a monogamous relationship, while later it turns out that your beloved had multiple sweethearts.
For the main characters in the new Netflix docu ‘Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies & Scandal’, this was exactly the case. The website ‘Ashley Madison’ was created to make money from people who wanted to cheat. Despite the fact that the members were under the illusion that their data was safe with the site, the system was hacked and all names and data of all members were exposed. The docu shows various people involved in the scandal: employees, victims, and of course the cheaters. The scandal was big news worldwide, as famous people (even politicians) around the world were members of the website.
The docu particularly zooms in on a classic ‘American dream’ family, and how that illusion burst. I binged the three episodes and I am sure that everyone who starts this will do the same.
