For years, Taylor Swift's love life has been a hot topic. People find it especially incredibly interesting to share the list of names of her famous exes, including how long she has actually been with that person. The fact that the duration of that ‘relationship’ with some is only one month doesn't ring a bell for anyone that it could have just been a date. The somewhat longer ‘relationships’ (we're talking about a duration of three to six months) she had, for example, with Harry Styles, Calvin Harris, John Mayer, Connor Kennedy, Jake Gyllenhaal, and of course Joe Alwyn. With the latter, she was even together for five years (thanks to that break-up, Taylor wrote the album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’).

Some men may thank Taylor, as she is the reason a large part of Gen Z still knows their names. Jake Gyllenhaal, for example, hasn't received a film role in a long time (or I just haven't noticed). Yet it seems that Taylor is the one being shamed here. But well, it's been said before, but I don't believe Harry Styles has dated fewer women. Or should we make a list of all the girls Leonardo DiCaprio has invited on his yacht? The important difference is probably, and unfortunately, that Taylor is a woman. It seems that there are still different ‘rules’ for women in the dating scene.

The big advantage is: Taylor makes a lot of money from all the gossip about her love life. As the fans know: Taylor's greatest strength is her love songs, especially those she has written after a broken heart (although the album ‘Lover’ is really my favorite). Her lyrics about the exhausting men she had to deal with are so relatable for so many people that she sells out entire stadiums. This was also noticeable this week during the ticket sales for the concert in the Johan Cruijff ArenA: you had to be drawn to receive a link to the ticket sales, and in that ticket sales, it was still a race to the box office. The total of 165,000 tickets sold out within a few minutes.
Of course, all Swifties in the Netherlands hope that her extra special special guest will also show his face at these shows. Because seeing how happy Taylor and Travis are together is of course a cherry on top among all the intense heartbreak songs.
