Met Gala 2024: all the red carpet looks you want to see

Last night was Met o'clock and that means all the greats and goods gathered on the red carpet of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The dress code was ‘The Garden of Time’, in honor of the new exhibition Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, featuring super rare items spanning over 400 years of fashion history. The red carpet looks were surprisingly different this time compared to last year. Unlike many preppy pearls, black-and-white looks, bows, and even cats in honor of Karl Lagerfeld, this year was much softer, certainly more naked, and in a more flirty style.

Did the stylists of the biggest players in the fashion world succeed this year? From Zendaya with her second surprise outfit, Gigi Hadid's dress that took about 13,500 hours to make, Elle Fanning in a sheer wet look held up by little birds, Kendall Jenner and her butt cut-out, Emily Ratajkowski's Free the Nipple dress, and of course Kim Kardashian, from whom we are still a little shocked due to her halved waist. Oh, and let's not forget Jennifer Lopez in Schiaparelli Haute Couture, along with Tyla's sand sculpture, Sarah Jessica Parker, Dove Cameron and Damiano David, Adwoa Aboah + baby bump, and of course...
