According to experts, these songs are the best way to start your day

I dare say that I don't suffer from a morning mood. And that while I wake up every day to that delightful (not) standard iPhone alarm clock. For those who struggle to get up (cheerfully): music can be the solution. According to psychologists, certain songs help you start your day well. Let me take you through what the perfect morning playlist should meet.
A calm build-up
If you are abruptly woken from your sleep, like with an iPhone alarm, your body produces the stress hormone cortisol. That extra tension can carry through the whole day. If you want to play music in the morning, it’s better if the song builds up slowly. When the tempo of the song increases, your excitement for the day will also rise and improve your mood. This way, your body has time to shake off the sleep and start your day full of energy.
A nice tempo
Although the song doesn’t need to hit hard right away, it is important that it eventually has a good tempo. For the music experts: 100 to 130 beats per minute is ideal. Uptempo songs activate the areas in your brain that create excitement and make you alert. By listening to this from your bed, you prepare your body to really get up and get moving.
Positive lyrics
Not only the tempo is important, but also the lyrics of the song can do a lot. Starting the day with a real sad song doesn’t really help your mood. Songs with a positive message ensure that your body produces the substance dopamine. This acts as a kind of reward from your brain and creates a nice and satisfied feeling. Songs that evoke a positive memory also help for a good mood. Both the beat and the lyrics evoke certain emotions that activate your body for the day, in this case in a good way.
So what is the ideal playlist?
