Zendaya is not a sweetheart at all

My thoughts when I saw the trailer for Zendaya's latest film ‘Challengers’ in one word: WOW. We already knew she is a fantastic actress. Zendaya is also extremely beautiful and seems to dance through life always cheerful, sweet, and fit. The contrast with the role she plays in this new film is truly enormous. In this, she is anything but the ‘good girl’.

The fact that the story officially revolves around a couple of professional tennis players doesn't mean this isn't for you if you don't care a bit about this sport. I'll lift a little corner of the veil: looking at what I see, this film has more to do with the affairs and intrigues between them than with the actual tournament where all the main characters confront each other.

We see flashes of various sexy moments between Zendaya and the men (her husband Art and his former best friend, who happens to be her ex) and HOLY SHIT: the look Zendaya gives into the camera is fire. What adds to the fire is that the song used in the trailer (S&M by Rihanna) is of course all spice.

Looking at what we can see so far in the trailer, I think the best thing about this film is that a woman in the lead role is finally not dependent on men, but plays the men like puppets. I already have a total girl crush on Zendaya in this role. Just a little patience until April 26, then we can try to keep cool with fans in the cinema while watching the steamy scenes.
