This is the nicest hotel in Europe

Last weekend I slept in the Nhow hotel in Berlin and oh myyy; this hotel is really the coolest. So if you plan to book a trip to Berlin, then I have the hotel where you can go with your whole family, group of friends, or even just as a solo traveler. The Nhow hotel is the place to be to stay during your vacation or weekend getaway. Why? Let me break it down for you in five points.

Nhow hotel, Say what?

Every Nhow hotel has its own personality and is completely designed around that theme. The hotel in Berlin where I stayed has the personality of music and lifestyle – and you can see that right away. From musical notes on the walls to a piano in the entrance hall, and trust me, this is just the beginning. They also bring funny unexpected details to each hotel, like a stage next to the bar for example. That means drinking cocktails and enjoying performances in the middle (think karaoke) of the hotel? This is just the coziest.

Let me take you through the Nhow Berlin

Upon entering, you immediately see a huge pink ‘N’ at the door, and as you step inside, you are greeted by a reception that is shaped like half a guitar. I had to blink three times to believe it, but believe me, it’s really like that. You can grab snacks yourself at a mini self-service shop with a disco floor, and further down there’s already a piano waiting to be played. After checking in, my colleague Jan and I walked further into the hall, and there stood a huge stage. The ceiling above looks like a gigantic pink sound absorber – you know, what they use in a music studio.. Next to the stage is that huge bar, where the friendliest bartenders make the tastiest cocktails for you. Is your favorite drink not on the menu? No worries, they make anything your heart desires. Did you know that you even have a music studio in the nhow Hotel? And that you can book a game room? That means less sleeping and more enjoying all the things you can do here.

The rooms in the Nhow hotel

Time to go to the room. There are five different elevators, each with its own theme. I stepped into the orange rock ’n roll elevator to get to my floor, dancing as I stepped out of the elevator and arrived at my room. The room is mega spacious, has only round corners, and features all kinds of pink and purple shades. A king-size bed is all you need, right? Well, this room has it. And I haven’t even mentioned the bathroom: a shower and a large mirror with lights (I want this at home too), so you can spend hours doing a get ready with me. The room is not only coolly decorated and perfect for photos and videos, it is also clean, which is also quite important. When I opened the curtains, I had a view of the famous Oberbaumbrücke, so ask for this room. Because it was perfect.

The new concept of Nhow Hotels

I had to get ready quickly, because I was here with other writers, dancers, and influencers to celebrate the launch of the concept Dancenhow, Change Now This has been specially developed to inspire guests through movement and dance, and thus develop self-discovery and personal growth. Dr. Peter Lovatt, a dance psychologist - or better said, the best dance psychologist - enthusiastically explained the benefits of moving: “When people move together, they start liking and trusting each other more, they feel similar to each other, and they develop social bonding”, “Divergent moving and improvised dancing help people with Parkinson’s”, “Wouldn’t it be so comfortable if we could move freely in the presence of other people”. This spring, this concept will be introduced in all Nhow hotels.

Nhow hotel party in your own country

And oh yes, there are two Nhow hotels in the Netherlands, so you don’t necessarily have to make a whole trip to experience this experience. You can also just enjoy a weekend away in your own country. How fun is that? The hotels are located in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The hotel in our capital is the largest new-build hotel in the BeNeLux and has the theme ‘The Golden Age’. The rooms are inspired by the six cardinal directions to which the corners of the building point –cculture is completely central here. The hotel in Rotterdam has art and architecture as its personality and you have a lovely view over the city. So do set your alarm for sunrise, because you really shouldn’t miss that from your room in Rotterdam.
