HEMA is doing it again: after previously launching a surprisingly good dupe of the lip balm from Rhode, they are now coming out with something new. Meet the new blush sticks, bronzers, and highlighters from HEMA. And believe us: you want to try these sticks. Four blush colors, four bronzers, and two highlighters, all in a stick packaging that reminds us a lot of another very well-known brand: Rhode. You can buy 5.5 HEMA sticks for the price of 1 Rhode stick. Yes, really. This is your sign to sprint to HEMA.

Blush sticks to fall in love with

We start with the blush sticks, because I was really curious about these. Do they really look like those popular pocket blush? They are available in four shades, from fresh pink to warm terracotta. The texture is also quite soft, but not too greasy. It blends easily over your skin and mixes nicely with your foundation or even directly on your skin without a base. Ideal for a quick touch-up on busy days, or for your bag when you're heading to the office, a lunch date, or drinks.

The colors are well pigmented, but not overly so, allowing you to build them up perfectly. Just a tip: work quickly with your fingers or a brush, because once set, it stays on quite well. If you find it difficult, blend it first on your hand and then apply it to your face to apply it gently and softly. If the product is already on your skin and doesn't blend well? Spray some setting spray to make it a bit more spreadable.

Bronze it up

In addition to blush, HEMA is also coming out with four bronzer and contour sticks. The colors range from light caramel to deep espresso, making them suitable for different skin tones. I was surprisingly positive about the shades, because for contouring, the shade should have a bit more gray tones (because you're creating shadow) and to bronze your face, you need more brown, warm tones. So before you shop, pay attention to that. The finish is natural, blends out very easily, which is nice. Here too, less is more. Apply to your cheekbones, along your hairline, and a touch on your nose for that summer look.

Glowy highlighters that are not over the top

And then the highlighters: two shades that give your face just that little extra. Think: champagne glow and a warm peachy sheen. The texture is slightly softer than that of the blush and bronzer, making them easy to apply as eyeshadow, straight from the stick, for an extra glowy effect. No chunky glitter, no disco ball, but a soft sheen that makes your cheekbones and skin look healthy.

So run to HEMA. Because before you know it, the shelf, just like with the lip balms, will be continuously empty.
