7x gigantic holiday homes for a family trip to Italy

By

Going to the Italian coast with the whole gang in the summer is fun, but to keep the peace, a spacious holiday home is more of a priority than a desire. And not a house where there’s a long line for the bathroom in the morning. No, houses where you can play hide and seek and everyone has their own suite. In this list, we recommend gigantic houses where that family holiday becomes one big success. Nice: every accommodation has space for ten guests or more.

Holiday homes for a family trip to Italy

1. Vigna Rocchetta

In the vineyards of Piedmont, you will find the delightful Vigna Rocchetta. You start the day with a dip in the infinity pool and enjoy a barbecue and a stunning sunset in the evening. If the high temperatures are absent? Then you can also cook extensively in the modern kitchen and have drinks by the fireplace.

2. Casale di Villore

If you’re heading to Tuscany with ten people, Casale di Villore is a great choice. There’s a sunbed ready for everyone by the pool, my favorite spot for a drink. Also nice: within a fifteen-minute drive, you can swap the Tuscan hills for the hustle and bustle of Florence or Siena. Great for anyone who needs some excitement after a few hours of rest.

3. Trulli Terra Viva

A holiday to Puglia is on many people's wish list. To escape the crowds, a stay at Trulli Terra Viva is a hit. It feels like you’re living in an Italian bubble here, from which you wouldn’t want to escape. The renovated trulli with dreamy beds, brick walls, and wooden accents contribute to that.
Trulli Terra Viva - Strada comunale quote di Serrone, 70011 Alberobello

4. Castello Di Petroro

In Umbria, there’s also a gem of a house called Castello di Petroro. The interior is exactly what you expect from Italy (read: fabric sofas, wood squared, and flowers on the wall). The garden and the view, on the other hand, come straight out of a fairy tale. In short: all the ingredients to return home well-rested.

5. Villa Frida

In Lombardy, you can find a bright yellow villa: Villa Frida. The charming balcony overlooks the woods where the residence is located. Can you picture it? A sultry summer evening with all your loved ones, surrounded by a collection of blooming flowers. After a few Italian wines, everyone drifts off to their own room to do the same thing the next day. Or to recover by the pool. Something for everyone.

6. Villa D’esposito

You love or hate it: Villa D’Esposito in Campania stands out with its distinctive look. And with an area of 240 square meters, everyone can go their own way. The pool and the mini-gym make the modern building a real contender. Who wants to spend their summer holiday here? I’m signing up.
Villa D’esposito – Pozzilo 5, 80065 Sant’Agnello

7. Pedra

Celebrating a holiday with kids on an island like Sardinia is always a party. Especially when you hang the decorations at Pedra. The interior is simple, but what do you need when you spend most of the day outside? Exactly, a garden of about 350 square meters. And okay, also a pool. Luckily, they have it all here.
