So rich is Benny Blanco

You know him or you've never heard of him: Benny Blanco. The star producer behind every hit that rolls out of Hollywood – and Selena Gomez's husband. Yes, husband; you heard it right. Those two actually tied the knot last weekend. And we want to know everything, but really everything about this guy. Especially the most important question that no one dares to ask: how rich is that mastermind behind all the top 100 hits?
Work, work and more work
Look, if you can buy a diamond ring worth a quarter of a million, then you have some money in your pocket. The 37-year-old producer earned all that by working hard. He started mixing beats and recording himself with his boombox in his bedroom. His rapping skills caught the attention of big bosses at Columbia Records, and after a lot of trips to New York, he got an internship with producer Disco D. Eventually, after much training with him and Dr. Luke, he was able to produce for the biggest names like Kesha, Justin Bieber, and many more. And guess what? He made banger after banger, and you can tell: because that money? It piled up.

Own record label
That Benny is a real businessman. Besides all that singing, he set up two record labels in collaboration with Interscope Records: Mad Love Records and Friends Keep Secrets. This included big artists like Tory Lanez, Jessie Ware, and Cashmere Cat. That earned him a nice little fortune, but the adventure didn't last. These labels didn't hold up, but Benny managed to work his way back up. Ten years later, he moved to A&M Records, where he now runs the business as general manager.

Singer-songwriter
Oh yes, there's one more thing Benito can do: make his own music. In July 2018, his debut single ‘Eastside’ with Halsey and Khalid was released. This reached number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. After that success, more songs followed like ‘I Found You’, ‘Better to Lie’, and ‘Roses’. He has a knack for good music, because after all those singles, he recorded two solo studio albums. Of course, the music blood flows where it can't crawl, because this year he made an album together with his now-wife Selena Gomez: ‘I Said I Love You First’.

Benny the real estate agent
Benjamin Dunphy – sorry, very bad Modern Family joke – is just like a realtor with all that real estate he owns. This man is really not sitting still. Who would have thought he had a real estate empire? He recently sold his bachelor condo in New York for $3.6 million and traded it for a $35 million mansion in Beverly Hills with his sweetheart. But that singles flat wasn't the only property he had in his portfolio: add to that a mini apartment complex in Hollywood, a Spanish bungalow in Beverly Grove, and the old house of Tinder co-founder Sean Rad, which Benny bought for a mere $9.2 million. With all those properties in his name, he earns quite a bit. We would like a house tour.
In total, he has amassed a fortune of $50 million. That's just not normal, right? Well... You earn a little pocket money when you're one of the most sought-after music makers.

Is Selena Gomez with Benny just because he's so rich?
Let's set one thing straight: Selena is not with Benny because of his money. Haters will tell otherwise, but this is one hundred percent not true. That guy has only a fraction of what Selena has saved up over all her years. She has a million times (seriously) more than him: 1 billion. (But, a small but, Forbes claims this is only $700 million).

With her resume, I don't find that strange; from child star at Barneys, Disney actress to her recurring role in Only Murders in the Building: she is always booked & busy. So that money keeps flowing, and that wasn't all, because Selena set up her super successful beauty brand Rare Beauty five years ago. This is her baby, her success horse: her everything. The money she earns from this also partially goes to the Rare Fund for mental health – so she could even have more.
Anyway; together they have a lot of money, which they could spend on their wedding. That Ralph Lauren dress was fan-tas-tic. They could have spent that budget on an eyebrow wax. But hey, to each their own. Right?
