How rich is Benny Blanco
You know him, or you've never heard of him: Benny Blanco. The star producer behind every hit that comes out of Hollywood – and now the husband of Selena Gomez. Yes, husband; you heard that right. The two got married last weekend. And we want to know everything, but everything about this guy. Especially the most important question that no one dares to ask: how much money does the genius behind all the Top 100 hits have?
Work, work, and more work
Look, if you can buy a quarter-million-dollar diamond ring, you have some money. The 37-year-old producer has earned all this by working very hard. He started in his room mixing beats and recording himself with his boombox. His rapping skills caught the attention of the big bosses at Columbia Records, and after many trips to New York, he landed an internship with producer Disco D. Finally, after a lot of training with him and Dr. Luke, he was able to produce for big names like Kesha, Justin Bieber, and many more. And guess what? He made hit after hit, and it shows: because the money… piled up.

His own record label
Benny is a true businessman. Besides all that singing, he founded two record labels in collaboration with Interscope Records: Mad Love Records and Friends Keep Secrets. Among them were big artists like Tory Lanez, Jessie Ware, and Cashmere Cat. This allowed him to earn a good amount of money, but the venture was not successful. These labels did not last, but Benny managed to bounce back. Ten years later, he moved to A&M Records, where he now runs the company as general manager.

Singer and songwriter
Oh yes, there’s something else Benito knows how to do: create his own music. In July 2018, he released his debut single “Eastside” with Halsey and Khalid. It reached number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. After that success, more songs followed like “I Found You”, “Better to Lie”, and “Roses”. He has a good ear for good music, because after all those singles he recorded two solo studio albums. Of course, music runs in his veins, because this year he made an album with his now-wife Selena Gomez: “I Said I Love You First”.

Benny the real estate agent
Benjamin Dunphy – sorry, very bad joke from Modern Family – is almost a real estate agent with all the properties he owns. This guy really doesn’t stop. Who would have thought he had a real estate empire? He recently sold his apartment in New York for 3.6 million dollars and traded it for a 35 million dollar mansion in Beverly Hills with his girlfriend. But that wasn’t the only property in his portfolio: add a mini apartment complex in Hollywood, a Spanish bungalow in Beverly Grove, and the former home of Tinder co-founder Sean Rad, which Benny bought for about 9.2 million dollars. With all those properties in his name, he’s surely making good money. We would love to do a house tour.
Meanwhile, adding it all up, he has amassed a fortune of 50 million dollars. Isn’t that normal? Well… one makes good money when they are one of the most sought-after music creators.

Is Selena Gomez with Benny just because he’s so rich?
Let’s clarify: Selena is not with Benny for his money. Haters will say otherwise, but this is not true at all. This guy has only a fraction of what Selena has saved over the years. She has a million times (seriously) more than him: 1 billion. (But, small note, Forbes says he only has 700 million dollars).

With his resume, I’m not surprised; from child star at Barneys, Disney actress to her recurring role in Only Murders in the Building: she’s always busy and working. So the money keeps flowing, and that’s not all, because Selena launched her successful beauty brand Rare Beauty five years ago. This is her baby, her success horse: her everything. The money she makes from it also partially goes to the Rare Fund for mental health – so she could have even more.
Anyway, together they have a lot of money, which they have been able to spend on their wedding. That Ralph Lauren dress was fan-tas-tic. They could have spent that budget on an eyebrow wax. But well, everyone has their own. Right?
