What happened to Jessica Simpson?

Yes, we need to talk about Jessica Simpson. Because how did she look in All’s Fair. Okay, okay, we’re not really the type to put women in the spotlight to shame, but this is really something that left us speechless. Because honestly: what happened to Jessica Simpson's face?
Fillers, fillers, and more fillers
Let me start at the beginning: I was quietly watching All’s Fair last night when a new case came up. It seemed like the same old routine as every lawyer series ever, until the camera turned. And suddenly there she was: Jessica Simpson. And she looked quite... uh, filled. My jaw dropped. She was totally unrecognizable. It looked like she had gotten a bit too many fillers, and those lips? They were so plumped that they couldn't even close. I must honestly admit: I was a bit shocked. Now I really know that celebrities aren't shy about a little injection here and a little cut there, but this really takes the cake.
Is it real?
That's what I was wondering too. Anyone who knows Jessica Simpson knows she really didn't look like that. Especially in her younger years not. And yes, everyone gets a year older, but that’s no sign that you should immediately fill your entire face, right? Exactly. And on her Instagram, we can see that she – at least some time ago – did not look like that at all. Of course, you can fake everything on social media if you want, but it still made me think: is this really real?
The answer is: no. Nope, this is not real. As we've seen lately, we know she's not shy about some plumped lips – cue the evidence:

But like this in All’s Fair? That is very exaggerated. After two decades, Jessica is back on the big screen, in the series as Lee-Ann. A woman who has been ruined by plastic surgery and wants to sue her ex-husband. He was the reason she had her face altered, and that turned out completely wrong. And now? She wants revenge. So yes: this filled face is really not how she looks. They are prosthetics.
A new face
For the role, she got a completely new face. It took six hours (yes, seriously!) to transform her face into Lee-Ann. She got swollen cheeks, a fake nose, overly sunken eyes, and fake plumped lips.

So, in conclusion: yes, we were a bit shocked, but luckily Jessica didn't go overboard with the needle.
