Why MAFS Australia 2025 is again a treat

If you thought it couldn't get juicier than the previous seasons, it can. MAFS Australia 2025 is back with drama at the highest level. And believe me, it's again a feast for the eyes.
There are now eight episodes online, but they are really coming too slowly, with four new episodes every Friday.

Couples with a past
First of all, it turns out that two (!!) couples already knew each other. When they saw each other at the altar, the first reaction was: oh fuck. Hi Rhi, hi Jeff. And the couple we thought might be the hottest of the season turned out to have a very different story behind it. He had ghosted her, as we found out after the 'I do'.
Both couples had something going on in the past, not for very long, about a month.
Oops, where was the casting team during these applications? It's 2025, even I can trace the ex of my mother's neighbor's cousin!

Men who leave the ship
And then there's the drama surrounding two men who pack their bags and leave the show in no time because they felt they were not matched well with their partner at all.

16 couples
This year there are plenty of couples, a total of 16. All with their own wish lists and demands, each one more special than the other.

Aside from all the drama, the decor, the people: everything is so beautiful. The images of Sydney and all the wedding locations. I would love to go to Australia once. It seems like everything there is more beautiful than anywhere else. That's probably also the reason they have so many fans all over the world.

By the way, I'm not alone. Also acquaintances who are totally hooked on MAFS: Hugh Jackman, Nicola Coughlan, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Saoirse Ronan.

Spoiler alert: one of the men who left early returns with a new experiment.

Despite the feeling that so much is scripted: it remains my favorite show.
