New cinema films: these are the ones you want to see (and these especially not)

It is again the perfect time to go to the cinema! First enjoy a nice meal (it's time for cheese fondue again) or have some drinks or cocktails with friends or your partner. I have selected the best movies for you.
1. ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER
Of course, we start with the latest Leonardo film. A brilliantly directed film (Paul Thomas Anderson), with a full top cast: Sean Penn, Teyana Taylor, and Benicio del Toro. In One Battle After Another we follow the failed adventures of the glorious supreme fool Bob Ferguson (Leonardo DiCaprio) who fully immerses himself in the buffoonish role, a revolutionary soldier who turns into a wanted terrorist, underground refugee, and devoted single father.
IMDb rating: 8.6
2. The Conjuring: Last Rites
Okay, this horror movie is not for the faint-hearted. Ed and Lorraine Warren investigate one of their most terrifying cases to date. The Conjuring-universe has already produced several scary films based on true events…. How about that! Michael Chaves also directed Annabelle, The Nun and The Curse of La Llorona. In this The Conjuring: Last Rites Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson return as the duo Ed and Lorraine Warren.
Do you dare to sleep afterwards? I don't.
3. Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale
Ahhh, Downton Abbey. I really cried when the series ended. The Grand Finale is the perfect farewell to the series that has been a part of at least my life for fourteen years. A sentimental celebration of all the iconic characters. The film offers you a beautiful way to say goodbye to the Crawley family (especially Maggie Smith) and their staff.
IMDb rating: 7.7
4. The Strangers: Chapter 2
And another great horror movie! Chapter 2 of The Strangers is even more gruesome than the original (Chapter 1). Maya (Madelaine Petsch) survives her previous encounter with the killers, but when they return, the fight is not over. Maya must once again do everything she can to survive. No escaping, no trust, the Strangers are on her tail again.

5. A Big Bold Beautiful Journey
With these two top actors like Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell, you might think it should be a successful film. Unfortunately, the reviews are anything but flattering. For example, the NRC writes that it is a clichéd failure. And they write: it feels like being stuck in a car with two people who find themselves very interesting, profound, and complex, but have the depth of an Instagram photo of a sunset. Even Colin Farrell's melancholic eyebrows can't save him from this scenario.
The story: Sarah and David, both single, meet at a wedding. What follows is an adventure in which they relive moments from the past. Do you still want to go? What a shame, for these two top actors.
IMDb rating: 6.2
6. The Roses
The Roses is a remake of The War of the Roses from 1989. This time with Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman as the married couple who succumb to their obsession with money and possessions. This destroys their marriage, leading them to a divorce lawyer. Reviews are mixed. The actors are top-notch, but the sharp edge that made the original so strong is missing.
IMDb rating: 7.0
I would really like to see this: ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER, of course Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale and also The Roses.
