OMG: these celebs have had nude photos leaked

We've all done crazy things for love, right? Of course, some people do it a bit crazier than others. Celebs are no exception. They've dipped their toes into the pool of nude photos. And for them, it's a bit more risque because, no matter how rich you are, no amount of money can buy real privacy. Watch out, this is juicy: these stars had it go wrong:

Jennifer Lawrence

In 2014, there was a massive hack on Apple's iCloud server where nearly 500 photos of stars were stolen. Including those of Jennifer. She spoke out strongly against this. Vanity Fair Magazine. “The fact that I am a public figure does not mean I asked for this. It is my body, and it should be my choice to determine who sees those photos. To everyone who looked at the photos, I say one thing: you are a sexual predator. You should be ashamed.”

Emma Watson

The British actress became a victim of a leak in 2017. It involved photos taken during a fitting session with her stylist. Not nude photos, but still a huge violation of her privacy. Her legal team filed a lawsuit – successfully: the perpetrator ended up behind bars.

Chris Evans

Unlike the others on this list, Captain America accidentally leaked his own nudes. In a video, he played ‘Heads up’ with his family, which he shared with his (then) 5.7 million Instagram followers. It included a collage of photos, including one of his erect penis. The video was quickly removed, but the damage was done. It was radio silence until he posted a message two days later now that he had received all sorts of ‘new attention’: “Now that I have your attention… VOTE Nov 3rd!!” He never really confirmed that the photo was of him, but given his reaction, we think so. His Marvel colleague, Mark Ruffalo, stood up for his friend in a tweet: “@ChrisEvans Bro, as long as Trump is president, there's nothing you can do that you should be ashamed of.”

Amanda Seyfried

Mamma Mia, Amanda thought when she found out her photos had been leaked. Like Emma Watson, she was a victim of the data leak in 2017. Her photos were shared on Reddit, 4chan, and Celeb Jihad.

Scarlett Johansson

Photos of this actress (there seems to be a theme here) were also leaked. In 2011, photos were stolen directly from her phone. Fortunately, the perpetrator also ended up in prison.

Kate Hudson

She has posed nude on the cover of InStyle and her own Instagram, but having her photos leaked is a different story. She was, like other actresses, a victim of the photo leak in 2017.

Brad Pitt

It’s a 90s scandal: Playgirl published nude photos of Brad Pitt and his then-girlfriend Gwyneth Paltrow. He did not take this lightly: he filed a lawsuit against the magazine. In court , he said that the photos were taken in 1995 by a photographer who had secretly entered the hotel where they were staying. The lawyer for Playgirl, Kent Raygor, said that the photos were two years old and had already been published in Europe. How the magazine got the photos was, according to him, unknown. The judge prohibited the sale of new prints of the magazine, but the issues that were already out could still be sold. Wow, rough.

Jessica Alba

In 2010, a lot of pregnant Jessica Alba was suddenly visible when her topless nude photos were leaked.

Tyler Posey

Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey's privacy was also digitally attacked by hackers in 2017 when his iCloud was hacked. His private videos were posted online, but he wasn't really stressed about it. “I don't care. You have so much less stress if you just let it go,” he said in an interview with Us Weekly.

Dylan Sprouse

Years after he starred in Suite Life of Zack and Cody, nude photos of him suddenly appeared on the internet. These were allegedly posted online by an angry ex-girlfriend. The actor confirmed that the photos were of him by tweeting a joke. “Whoops, I guess I'm not fat and 14 anymore. I made a mistake, but it's so dumb not to own it.”

Bella Thorne

For American actress Bella Thorne, it went so far that a hacker blackmailed her with her topless photos. He sent her anonymous texts and wanted to return the photos in exchange for a pile of money. Instead of being scared, Bella threw a plot twist into the situation that could have been in a movie: she posted her own nude photos. She took back control and sidelined the hacker in one fell swoop. She tweeted: “I feel dirty, I feel watched. Someone took something from me that was special. I've let men take advantage of me for too long, and I'm sick of it. Posting this is my own decision. Now you can't take anything from me anymore. You will never have my life in your grip.”

Iggy Azalea

A photoshoot with GQ Australia went badly for the rapper when nude photos from that shoot were suddenly posted online in May 2019. She was so in shock that she deactivated her social media. In a statement, she said the leak felt like a ‘nuclear bomb’ that made her feel angry, sad, and ashamed.

Demi Lovato

Sorry not sorry, the hacker reportedly said who hacked Demi Lovato's ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama's Twitter account and shared nude photos of the couple. And even worse: a few years later, in 2017, it happened again. On Twitter, she calmly responded: “I love how everyone flips out over one photo. It's not even nude, it's just my cleavage.”

So. Whether you're a Hollywood A-lister or just us. One thing is for sure: the internet never forgets you. So be careful.
