The summer of 2025 is set to be one of the hottest summers in a long time, and that applies not only to the thermometer. We can also see it on our faces this summer: the Toasty Glamlook. A trend that, of course, comes from our it-girl Hailey Bieber. When she posts a fairly simple makeup video with the caption ‘toasty glam using no brushes fingers only 🫣 now you try! Hehe‘, she sets a trend worldwide again, you know. What makes this look so unique, well, unique… just a bit different than usual, is that she uses no brushes. She blends and applies everything with her fingertips. So what’s happening in beautyland? The brushes stay in the bag and we’re all getting to work with clean fingers to create that sun-kissed glow, soft smoky eyes, and lipliner-full but natural lips.
How do you make the Toasty Glamlook a success?
Of course by using the right products and especially: how you apply them. Opt for a glowy base with a nice cream that makes your skin glow. Forget that matte full-coverage foundation; the Toasty Glam calls for airy coverage, so a thin layer of concealer is actually enough. Prefer a bit more coverage? Then go for a thin layer of tinted moisturizer or a very light fluid foundation. Then add a generous warm bronzer and blush in terracotta shades, as if your skin has just been in the sun a bit too long. On the cheekbones, over your nose, against your hairline: there’s no such thing as ‘too much’ in this look, as long as you build it up gently and blend with the softest finger of the bunch: your ring finger.
We also don’t skip eyeshadow
Think of a creamy texture in colors like copper, brown, or soft pink, also applied with your fingertips. Don’t think of sharp lines, follow the curve of your eye and create a soft shadow. And then those eyebrows: fluffy, natural, and lightly filled in if necessary. As long as it looks as natural as possible, you have the perfect eyebrow for this trend.
Last but not least: of course the lips
They complete the look and Hailey knows that all too well. If you thought Kylie Jenner is iconic when it comes to her lips (especially plumping lips), then Hailey definitely belongs in the list of lipliners that have made a comeback thanks to her. With the Toasty Glamlook, you don’t create a sharp lip line and thick layer of matte lipstick, but work with a diffuse liner (of course from her collection, just a little patience and I bet we’ll be shopping that soon), some gloss, and your finger to make it all just-not-perfect.
