The best mascara of 2025? This is it
The eyelash curler stays in the bag these days, because the mascara I am using now doesn't need a curler. It has just been launched and I can't live without it. The Benefit BADgal Bounce is already, in my opinion, the mascara of the year, and thousands of other beauty lovers on TikTok agree with me.
This mascara promises ‘full, fluffy, lifted lashes without clumps and smudges’. I'm not exactly sure what they mean by the last part, because if you're not careful for a moment, a smudge on your skin can happen in no time. But the full and lifted lashes? Absolutely.
The brush
is a case apart – in a positive sense. The Bounce Mascara has a specially designed hybrid brush that is different on both sides. One side is a fiber brush that ensures the black color is applied neatly, adding volume and length. The other side has a fine comb that keeps the lashes separated and prevents clumps.

A mascara these days is not just to give lashes a nice color; you also find plenty of nourishing ingredients in the latest versions. This BADgal Bounce contains ingredients such as:

The application
is exactly how I like to see a mascara: very subtle. I start with the fluffy side, which gradually gives the lashes more color, volume, and length. With every layer you apply, you literally see your lashes grow. And as a frequent user of the eyelash curler, I can say: with this mascara, that's really not necessary. After a few layers, my lashes are coated with a nice black layer, but without thick, hard sticks – which you can quickly get with some mascaras. Hence the name: Bounce, because your lashes remain soft and flexible. Then I tilt the brush and go along all the lashes with the comb to separate them neatly where needed. I also apply a thin layer to my lower lashes with the comb. Et voilà: my lashes are happy (thanks to the nourishing ingredients), and I'm happy. Bounce, you make my day.
