The latest power couple: this is Jade Anna & Kenneth Taylor
For me, the weekend is always about football. Besides being a football mom, and thus always standing on the sidelines to cheer for my own little footballer, it also feels like total relaxation to have ESPN on all day and keep up with all the matches of the Eredivisie. So, enjoying that ‘my’ Ajax won this weekend against the arch-rival Feyenoord. And not just any win. First, my favorite Brobbey scored, and in the last few minutes of extra time, Kenneth Taylor made himself immortal by scoring the winning goal. I already knew that Kenneth has a very attractive famous girlfriend. But I didn't know much about Jade Anna, although she had already built an enormous business for herself before her relationship with Kenneth. Those million followers don't come from him, you know. Still, for some, Jade Anna might be ‘Kenneth's girlfriend,’ while for an even larger group it will be ‘Kenneth, Jade's boyfriend.’ In short: time for some info about these two, who are thriving together.
First things first: I have a new girl crush
You probably know it: some other women are just so nice, pretty, or admirable that even as a straight woman or gay man, you start to develop a mini crush. Not that you're really in love, it's more a kind of respect and celebrating another person. That's what I have with Jade Anna. To be completely honest, I only looked her up on Insta when it became known that she and Kenneth were dating. But she is absolutely not a standard football wife; you can't even call her ‘the girlfriend of...’ Jade Anna has about 10 times as many followers as her boyfriend, who plays international football and thus has quite a bit of international recognition. Jade has been working hard on her influencer career since she was twelve. She started as a YouTuber with a channel featuring things like beauty tips, and she has now grown into one of the most recognizable faces in our social media landscape. In the song ‘Een chick als’ by a Dutch artist, it even sings about what an ideal woman she is. Lucky Kenneth, that he has managed to win her over.
Kenneth's career is on the rise again since he met Jade
Okay, Kenneth is a professional footballer at one of the biggest clubs in our country, so he has clearly done well in recent years. But it seemed like things were going a bit downhill for a while. He didn't seem to be feeling well, and his performances in the team were not exactly fantastic. But as they say: behind every successful man stands a strong woman. Jade knows what hard work is, so it could very well be that she inspires Kenneth to take that extra step. He really made himself immortal during the match against Feyenoord, and to celebrate that, he ran to his girlfriend afterward to celebrate his goal together. Ajax supporters agree: Jade Anna is the reason for Kenneth's success.
