These are the things you really shouldn't miss when you're in Budapest

Last summer I was with a girlfriend in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe: Budapest. From the mega-beautiful architecture to the most fun nightlife, this city really has everything you’re looking for if you want to get away for a few days. So is Budapest on the agenda? Save these tips in your notes, because these 3 things you really can’t miss.
The Prosecco Boat via Social Deal
Our absolute highlight of our trip was: The Prosecco Boat. For less than 25 euros, you can enjoy 90 minutes of unlimited different types of prosecco. And the service ensures that your glass is never empty, but if you are a very fast drinker or someone isn’t paying attention, there are plenty of bottles ready at the bar for self-service. The best is yet to come, because you sail past the most beautiful spots in the city. As a tip, I can suggest booking the boat trip at sunset, as most buildings are lit up then and the view is the most beautiful.
The Fisherman's Bastion
About a twenty-minute walk from the center stands this magical, whitewashed building on the Buda hill. Besides the great little places where you can eat or drink, there are also super cute souvenir shops. You really feel like a princess as you walk through the walls of this building. It’s the perfect place for a selfie (or 10). From here you look out over the Chain Bridge and the city. In the morning, local people play music there, creating a somewhat magical atmosphere. Or go there early in the evening, because you can also enjoy the golden hour.
Going out
A mistake you shouldn’t make: starting too early. On our first day, we went to the ruin bars, a real recommendation for all night owls and Budapest is known for it, so I would definitely take a look. But Dob Utca is also the place where all the clubs come together. Here you will experience – and I can confirm it – the best night of your life. Tip: try a “Palinka”. This drink can only be made and bottled in Hungary, so you definitely can’t miss that.
If it’s not already planned, I definitely recommend adding Budapest to your city trip list.
