Every day there are new, surprising virals to be found on TikTok. In all sorts of different areas, including the area of sex. My curiosity really wins every time, because when I see certain terms pop up, I just have to know what it's about. What have they come up with now? And especially: how do they come up with all those new names for things that probably already existed? Now I came across the term ‘rainbow kissing’ and that sounds so cozy! Right? Well, the explanation is a bit different than the name might suggest.

It doesn't actually have much to do with rainbows. Rainbow kissing is the description for a variant of position 69: when a man performs oral sex on someone who is menstruating at that moment, which means he will probably get some blood in his mouth, while the woman is giving him a blowjob. The man finishes in the woman's mouth, and then they kiss each other. The sperm and the blood are mixed together, and that's what you call rainbow kissing. Why this is trending on TikTok, I don't know, to be honest. It doesn't sound very appealing to me. So whether this is really something people do, or if it's trending because it's an interesting term...? And yes, just like me, many people are just super curious and everyone loves a bit of shock.

Rainbow kissing is very popular among people who have a fetish for ‘bodily fluids’ to put it very bluntly. This could be related to watersports, but also to blood... According to some doctors, it is very dangerous because various diseases can be hidden in blood, but others say that it is sufficient to regularly test for STIs to be sure that it is safe to participate in this trend. It is clear that this trend is not for everyone; as far as I'm concerned, let's just stick to reading the meaning of these kinds of terms.
