This 3-in-1 palette is still missing from your make-up bag

There are those days when you hang over your makeup bag and think: why is this such a chaos. Ten products, all half used, and really a hassle (for all my travel girlies) to take on a trip. Luckily, nowadays there is a solution for everything and yes, there is also an answer for this beauty problem. Benefit did it again, and thank you.

The 3-in-1 palette has been in stores for a while now, and that for less than forty euros. Your favorite blush, bronzer, and highlighter together, in one palette. Don’t walk, RUN to the store and get yourself (and your bestie) this present.

Three functions in one palette: It can't get more practical than this

Let me guess: you already have that bronzer, highlighter, and blush from Benefit at home. Or at least one of them. Mine are also slowly running out, although I honestly always use them surprisingly long. But that's why this 3-in-1 palette is quite handy. As soon as your regular products are almost gone, you can switch to this trio all at once, without having to buy everything separately again. That ultimately saves money too.

What’s so chill about it is that you don’t get twenty colors where you only end up using two. You just get three… and then also the three faves. The color Hoola as bronzer, Cookie as highlighter, and Shellie as blush. Three shades that everyone uses a lot and that you know just match. The only downside is that this palette is only available in the holiday collection, so if you want it, don’t think too long about it.

Here’s how to apply it like a pro

Those three colors need to be applied where they belong, of course. Soooo: Let’s start with blush. If you have an angular face with a clear jawline, blush should mainly soften. Apply it softly on the apples of your cheeks and blend it out gently. With a round face, blush can actually help to shape. Place it a bit higher on your cheekbones and work it out towards your temples. That lifts your face, and this is personally my favorite. Something I often do: I apply the leftover blush on my brush very lightly on the top of my nose bridge.

Then bronzer. Note: bronzer is not the same as contouring. The difference between them is important to know: Here you can read about the differences. Apply bronzer just below the spots where you applied your blush. If you want a more bronzed look, finish with bronzer. If you prefer a more blushed look, finish with blush. Always start gently and build up slowly. In winter, you want more warmth, not the “I’ve been in the tanning bed too long” effect.

Oh, and another tip: if you’re not a fan of eyeshadow but want something to happen above your eyes so they pop beautifully? Then apply a bit of blush and bronzer on your eyelids (trust me: It works wonders).

Highlighter is the finishing touch, and the color Cookie is quite pigmented. So don’t use too much. Apply it to the high points of your face: on top of your cheekbones, a little on your nose bridge, and possibly just above your upper lip.
