This cashmere bandana will be the autumn accessory of 2026
I love autumn. At least, the sunny days of autumn, that is. And this autumn of 2026 has, in my opinion, introduced a new trend: the cashmere bandana. And rightly so, because what a lovely fashion item. And if I had to point out one piece that could very well become the accessory of autumn 2026, it would be from the French cashmere brand KUJTEN.
The bandana has been making a comeback for a while now, both for summer, with those small cotton versions you tied around your head, and now for the colder months. But this new version is nice and big, super soft, and wonderfully luxurious. KUJTEN makes the bandanas from 100 percent cashmere and the square model measures no less than 140 by 140 centimeters. We want those!
Okay. You don't just wear it as a scarf, but you can drape it loosely around your neck, or, my favorite, throw it over your shoulders or casually lay it over a coat.
Fun fact: KUJTEN is a French cashmere brand that designs its bandanas in Paris. The brand works with cashmere from Mongolia and produces the bandanas in Nepal.
The fact that the bandana suddenly stands out so much isn't entirely out of the blue. Earlier this year, I read that the bandana scarf was Marie Claire identified as one of the standout accessories of 2026. KUJTEN was specifically mentioned here as well. It's actually precisely the combination of the classic bandana silhouette but combined with luxurious cashmere. A bit casual, but at the same time also wonderfully chic.
And then there are the different colors you can choose from. The Large Bandana, personally I think that size is the nicest, comes in quite a few different colors and prints. Personally, I think the Large Ecru is the nicest. Or well, also the Large Khaki. Ah, I actually can't choose at all. They are all really super beautiful.
The price for the Large version is currently around €265, measuring 92 by 92 centimeters.
So yes, your big wool scarf can still definitely come outside. But I predict that it will face competition this autumn from a much softer, airier, and above all much more fun variant. The cashmere bandana, that is.
If you're considering it and buying it, wear it a bit casually and especially as if you've had it for years. After all, that's exactly how a good trend should feel.
