These are Dua Lipa's favorite food hotspots in Paris

By

You know her: Dua Lipa. Pop star by day, face of a skincare line in the afternoon, and podcasting in the evening for her culture community Service95. Yes, as you hear it, Dua has nine lives. And if that wasn't enough, this girl is always everywhere and nowhere. If you take just one look at her Instagram feed, you'll see that. One moment she's in a nightclub that looks like a wild 2000s party, and the next moment she's on a boat next to a sunny island. Her life looks like a Pinterest postcard, so if we're taking travel tips from someone, it's from Miss. Dua. This time it's not Italy or New York City, but Paris. And this girl? She knows the absolute best restaurants and bars where you can sit by candlelight for hours. Do you also want a Dua-like Paris adventure? Then according to her, these are the absolute best food hotspots.

Bistrot Des Tournelles

In this traditional bistro is where Dua can often be found. When you step into this restaurant, you might think you've stepped into a time machine. With that marble floor and an old-fashioned cash register. The interior with wooden chairs, brown sofas, and old photos gives you the feeling that a lot has been experienced here. And it has, sort of. Édouard Vermync and Geoffroy Langella breathed new life into the old café-restaurant in 2022. With a mix of vintage items and a strong menu, it attracts every food lover inside. Do you really want to eat traditionally? Then you do it here. I'm already craving that steak au poivre, not gonna lie.

Bistrot Paul Bert

Paul Bert? That sounds like a boring old man – and I get that. But believe me: it's really worth a visit. This is the kind of restaurant you quickly walk past, without knowing what you're missing. This is where the locals eat their steak au poivre. And no: it's not far. It's right in the 11th arrondissement. In this street, Paul Bert is heritage, it even has its own merch line. And if Dua and Callum like to eat here, then you know it's good.

Sugaar

Also in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the singer knows a spot. Sugaar is the dream mix of delicious food and a great atmosphere. According to her this is perfect for those dinners that last into the late hours. You do have to be able to find it first, as it's hidden among all the major tourist attractions. But just a few steps from the Saint-Germain Boulevard, you can drink the tastiest wines here. There's no lengthy menu; just good food, even better cocktails, and a good vibe.

Le Servan

Are you done with all the pasta and onion soup? Then Le Servan might just be what you need. The Filipino sisters Tatiana and Katia serve French classics with an Asian twist here. A langoustine ravioli? It has a ponzu dressing here. If you thought you had figured out French food, then you'll get a completely new flavor palette here.

Casa Pregonda

If there's a restaurant Dua never gets tired of, it's Casa Pregonda. A trip to Paris isn't complete without a dinner here. A corner of Spanish music and the tastiest croquetas can be found here.

Double Dragon

Our favorite singer apparently has a weakness for Filipino food, because also Double Dragon has Filipino dishes. Oh, and her favorite natural wine. I must honestly admit: from a quick glance at the menu, I know I have to go here when I'm back in Paris. That crispy kombu? Wow. I'm dreaming.

Early June

Drinks then (and the snacks!). Do you want a special wine tasting and a menu that constantly changes? That has Early June. All kinds of traveling chefs stop by this restaurant to cook, so you always get something surprising and special.

Clamato

No, not tomato, but clamato. This fish restaurant on Rue de Charonne belongs on Dua's list. Personally, I'm not much of a fish person, but that sea bass with béarnaise sauce? That appeals to me. And the maple syrup tart. Oe la la.

Au Top

As the name suggests, this one is on top. Literally, because it's a rooftop restaurant in the Marais. For a beautiful view, you sit here. And for that food, you'll keep coming back. Whether you want roasted fish, meat, or vegetables that look like you're at a Michelin-star restaurant: Au Top has it all.

Racines

You don't have to go to Sardinia to taste the local cuisine, you do that in Paris at Racines. This bistrosteria is located in the Panoramas Passage and it is, if we may believe Dua, a ‘modern Parisian classic’. Think of a dark restaurant with sturdy walls. Italian and French dishes that melt in your mouth and a real Michelin star.

So are you still looking for where to eat in Paris? Then Dua has already done the homework for you. Follow her favorites and you'll definitely have a blast of a vacation. Bon Manger!
