This is how you put together the perfect golf outfit

Sporty and stylish go perhaps nowhere as well together as on the golf course but I can imagine you thinking: what should I wear? I asked myself that question too when I went top golfing with friends. birthday Nowadays, all athleisure brands have a line of golf clothing and accessories, so it's not difficult to find items for fun golf outfits. Whether you're going golfing for the first time and have no idea what to wear, or you're an experienced golfer but want to upgrade your outfits, this is how you can hit the golf course stylishly and comfortably.
The basis of a good golf look
The perfect golf outfit must of course provide enough freedom of movement. That's why stretchy materials are very nice, often a base of a top and skirt or pants, over which you can wear sweaters and accessories. With a classic polo, you can't really go wrong, but more fitted tops and sleeveless models can also be well combined with, for example, a golf skirt.
Layering
It looks really nice, such a top with short or no sleeves, but what if it gets colder, in the autumn and winter months? Then you throw on a preppy sweater or quarter zip. Quarter zips made of stretchy material with long sleeves are perfect for cooler weather. Golfers also like to wear a body warmer or golf vest, which keeps your body warm without restricting your arms and shoulders.
The best skirts and golf pants
The best golf skirts are not skirts, but skorts. A skort is a skirt on the outside, but you can move freely in it thanks to the built-in shorts, which often also have pockets where you can store your phone, for example. I bought mine at Oysho, which has been in the Netherlands since last year. In my opinion, this brand really has one of the best price-quality ratios of sports brands at the moment. They also sell fitted golf pants made of the same stretchy, yet breathable fabric.
Accessories complete the look
Besides the fact that accessories are functional, they are also the finishing touches of your golf outfit. First of all, of course, the well-known golf cap or visor. The handy thing about a visor is that the top of your head remains free, allowing you to easily put your hair up. It is also a bit airier, keeping your head cooler. If you really want to take golf seriously, a golf glove is a must-have for extra grip and to prevent blisters. In colder weather, good high socks are not only preppy but also very handy; they protect your legs and keep them warm.
Golf clothing is now so much more than the classic polo, you can go in different directions with it. I love the style so much that I had Sporty & Preppy as the dress code for my birthday. Friends came in tennis skirts and dresses, with sporty sweaters over them. You can also immediately wear the clothing for other sports like tennis and padel. And if you feel good in the clothes you wear, that confidence boost also leads to better performance.
