Beware: These hair rollers damage your hair (and these are good)

If you want to curl your hair to the next level, it's a must to use hair rollers for the most beautiful “vavavoom” result that lasts even longer. Hair rollers are back in style, and you see them everywhere. But there's one problem: hair rollers also have some disadvantages. This is especially true for the rollers with hard pins. Here they come:

Hair breakage
Then you think you're doing well, but hard hair rollers can damage your hair. If you don't roll them properly in your hair, taking them out can be a disaster. Taking them out needs to be very smooth and twisting for the best result, but the hard pins can make this more difficult. Your hair can get stuck in the pins, or you might get caught on another roller causing your hair to tangle. This can lead to breakage or split ends, especially if your hair is already fragile. Everything but that beautiful curl.

Tension on the hair
Hair rollers can cause extra tension on your hair, especially if they are wrapped in too tightly. This can also lead to hair breakage once you've had them in for a long time and start doing things indoors or outdoors. So once the rollers are in your hair, it's best to sit still for a bit, paint your nails, or enjoy a lovely face mask (like this one) to prevent your hair from becoming tense.

Uncomfortable
Hard rollers can also feel uncomfortable, especially on your scalp. The pins sometimes have small balls at the end, but they often provide little protection. It can be quite painful if you've had the rollers in your hair for too long and they are rolled in tightly.

These rollers are less damaging to your hair
Foam rollers are much softer and less damaging to your hair. They don't tangle the hair fibers and the chance of hair breakage and annoying knots is virtually impossible. You can easily roll them into your hair and secure them with a special clip so they stay in place, no complicated fuss. Just check out the video from my lovely friend Laura, and you'll immediately understand why you'll only want foam rollers from now on. And I know; she really has the most beautiful hair. The rollers she uses can be shopped right away at the bottom.
