Korean skincare at Etos & Kruidvat: these are the best products

It's no news that I get very happy about everything related to K-beauty. I didn't write this for nothing six years ago this article. Back then I shopped everything at special stores and honestly, I still do, but nowadays you don't have to scour the city and countryside or order through some vague webshops for certain products.
You can now simply find a number of viral K-beauty products at Etos or Kruidvat. Whuuut. That “just quickly grabbing toothpaste” suddenly turns into walking out with a toner, SPF, sheet masks, and a serum that turns out to be even better than you thought. But hey, with a glowy skin as a result, that's not so bad.
So I'm very happy with it. Because some Korean skincare products are popular for a reason. Korean skincare is much less about ‘stripping’ your skin with harsh acids or scrubs, but rather about hydrating, calming, and creating that well-known ‘glass skin glow’. Think: a healthy skin that looks like you've just had a €300 facial.
Okay, fair enough. That glass skin like you see on your phone screen is of course not entirely reality and in real life almost impossible. Your skin has pores and structure, otherwise, you're not a living person. With perfect lighting, maybe a subtle filter, and a good day, you might get pretty close to that glass skin, but in daily life, it just looks a bit different. Small side note.
Back to the subject. What makes Korean skincare so interesting is that Korea often leads years ahead on skincare trends that only become big here later. Ingredients like Centella Asiatica, rice extract, fermented skincare, and snail mucin (yes, really) were already normal there long before it blew up on TikTok or Instagram.
And exactly those products you can now also just shop at the drugstore. To make it easy for you, I've already made a shopping list for you. Here it comes.
