A perfume that smells like I've sprayed at least a hundred euros on it, but that I can just throw in my basket at Normal? You don't have to tell me twice. I really found a wonderful perfume that also lasts a long time (and it costs less than ten euros).

You want this, right?

I'm talking about this amazing perfume from La Rive that you can just score at Normal. The brand La Rive is already known for selling perfumes that smell, and sometimes also look, very much like the more expensive variants. I've tested some options before: I've become quite the expert by now. But none of La Rive's perfumes last as long as this one.

This is it

The scent ‘Sweet Velvet’ by La Rive looks like two drops of water on ‘La Bomba’ by Carolina Herrera. Not in appearance, but the scent really matches very closely. I would almost say 1 to 1 (the scent, that is). The large pink bottle that resembles a butterfly starts at €79 and the largest variant goes up to €170. Just not my pricerange, if you ask me.

Everyone is a fan

“You smell nice,” said my boss's wife when she picked me up to go to work and I got into her car. I think I had put on this fragrance at least 2 hours before, I couldn't smell it myself anymore. We concluded that you don't always have to pay a lot of money to have a scent that is both nice and long-lasting.

Besides my boss's wife, I also had several friends who wondered where my nice perfume came from. I recommended this one to each of them one by one. Also at the editorial I walked in this morning and Daniëlle immediately noticed: just this simple scent from Normal. Seems to me enough reasons to get it. Run, don’t walk!
