Can we please talk about the reunion of Love Is Blind: Netherlands having. Because amidst all the failed loves, broken engagements, and awkward confrontations, we suddenly got exactly what we as viewers were secretly waiting for: still a happy ending.

Jaslynn and Roël! I didn't see that coming. You? But they ended up together after the recordings. She was in Thailand, he was in Bali. And then Jaslynn just decided to book a ticket. They were supposed to spend four days together, but it turned into more.

Funny detail: Roël and Jaslynn have both been engaged twice in a year. Both during the experiment with someone else, and now with each other.

In the real world, you might need some time to recover from that, especially Jaslynn seems to me.

Did Love Is Blind have a hand in this happy ending?

And yes, we really needed this. Because how intensely sad that Mika and Jur are no longer together. I really thought, based on how they walked in, how they sat together on the couch, this is going really well. Luckily, because both are so nice. But unfortunately, it turned out not to be the case.

Yet the reunion ended unexpectedly romantically: Jaslynn and Roël, okay okay okay. But still, just for a moment: would Love Is Blind there not have been a tiny hand involved? Not in the love itself, of course, let that be clear, but in creating a fitting finale for the first Dutch season.

Because a show that shows us for weeks how complicated love can be, in which actually all relationships fail and even an engagement does not always lead to a marriage, could use a bit of good news. The perfect ending: an unexpected love between two participants, a proposal, and you and I still lovingly left behind.

Too good to be true?

Because after eight months of dating and then already an engagement? In the real world, we might ask if it's not going a bit fast. In the world of reality TV, this all feels like a perfect ending. Or not?

Will Netflix also pay for their wedding?

And then we come to my next question. Who will pay for the wedding?

Yes, that seems to be a thing. Because Love Is Blind also covers the production and the main costs of the weddings during the program.

So..... Love is Blind, I think you should do something for Jaslynn and Roël.
