Off Campus is the romantic campus series that takes over your weekend

Sometimes you want a series that doesn't require you to read three reviews first, remember five family histories, and end up sitting on the couch with a slight existential crisis. Sometimes you just want: fun people, complicated feelings, a campus, a sports team, and enough romantic tension to think: okay, just one more episode then.
Enter: Off Campus.
I started it with the idea that I would just see what the hype was about. That's always dangerous, because “just looking” usually means that three hours later I'm still in the same position, with an empty glass next to me and zero shame. And sure enough: this was one of those series.

Just about that campus
Off Campus, available on Prime Video, is based on the popular books by Elle Kennedy. We follow Hannah Wells, who is trying to fix her own things, and Garrett Graham, a hockey player, popular guy, type: probably knows very well that he is charming. He needs help, she can help, a deal is struck, and from that moment on you already know: this is not just about grades.
And that's exactly what makes it so enjoyable. It's not complicated, but it doesn't have to be complicated. It flows like a text that you don't really want to answer right away but still read three times. The chemistry is there, the campus vibe is there, the hockey jerseys are there, and before you know it, you're emotionally invested in people you didn't know yesterday.
