OMG: Rihanna performed live for the first time in years again

Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you: you read it right. After years of begging for new music, Rihanna has appeared on stage for the first time in two years. Where did she do this? With someone who put her on the map: Jay-Z. Curious if she could still sing (yes, of course, what kind of question is that?) and how she looked? You can read that here.
Surprise performance
No one saw it coming, but yesterday the singer surprised the whole world by suddenly walking into Jay-Z's concert. This was not just any concert, but a whole experience to celebrate his thirty-year anniversary in the music industry. And of course, Rihanna was part of it. During the song ‘Run This Town’ she suddenly appeared.

When I woke up this morning and opened my phone, I couldn't believe my eyes. Rihanna singing again? That sounded like the best ‘good morning’ I could get. After her fantastic Super Bowl performance, the world has missed her. Although she hasn't been idle (you know: her makeup brand, lingerie brand, taking care of her children, and various other projects), we really needed this. The world is healing.
How was the performance?
Okay, okay, it wasn't a two-hour concert, but the atmosphere? It was there. Rihanna sang not only that first hit but also the song ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’. That song couldn't be missing, as it is one of her most famous collaborations with Jay-Z. She walked onto the stage in her high heels and started singing as if she had never stopped.
And her look? It screams: ‘Rihanna is back, baby.’ She of course wore sunglasses, even though it was pitch dark, brown leather pants with gold chains around her hips, and a brown top. That brown color seems to be a theme, as with her long brown locks and that hazelnut-colored top, she stole the show.

Back where it all began
It's not surprising that Rihanna chooses Jay-Z to make her return after a long time. He is not just a fellow artist to her, but a mentor. The rapper was the one who offered her a contract at Def Jam Records. By collaborating with Rihanna on songs like ‘Umbrella‘ and ‘Talk That Talk‘ at the beginning of her career, he immediately put her on the map. Besides our favorite singer, other artists like Beyoncé, Teyana Taylor, Usher, and Pharrell Williams also performed.
Is this the beginning of Rihanna’s comeback? Please let it be so. Her music is desperately needed.
