Missing Stranger Things already? Then you can watch these 8 series

Are you already in a post-Stranger Things depression? Yes, after that long wait I understand that you really are not done with Hawkins and the Upside Down. Yet it is really true: the kids have grown up and life goes on. So yes, what should you watch next? I know a few series that will drag you through your mourning period. Just pay attention:
1. IT: Welcome To Derry (HBO Max)
We're going back to Derry, because we're not done with Pennywise yet. In this prequel, we dive back 27 years, to the early ’60s. We follow a family that moves to the city. When their child mysteriously disappears, a group of kids goes on an investigation. Where has he gone? This is exactly all the information you wanted to know in the movies: who is Pennywise and what has he done? A coming-of-age series has never been this scary. Because yes: this is going to be really bloody.
2. All of Us are Dead (Netflix)
This seems a bit like the plot of The Last Of Us, but the teenage version. A zombie apocalypse spreads rapidly across the entire city and a group of students gets trapped at school. Here they must fight to survive. Just like in Hawkins, these friends go through fire for each other in these life-threatening moments.
3. Archive 81 (Netflix)
When archivist Dan Turner is tasked with restoring broken videotapes from 1994, he uncovers a major conspiracy that should never have come to light. These are the tapes of Melody, who was investigating a cult. At the risk of her own life, she went undercover to discover what was going on. Dan finds himself in a dark and dangerous supernatural game to figure out what is happening. Were you mainly a fan of Stranger Things season 1? Then you will love this. It has exactly those mysterious vibes.
4. Dead Boy Detectives (Netflix)
So you want a spooky detective series that still has a lot of humor? Then Dead Boy Detectives is the right place for you. We follow two teenage ghosts who choose not to go to the afterlife, but instead solve paranormal mysteries with a clairvoyant.
5. I Am Not Okay with This (Netflix)
Drama and superpowers. If that doesn't sound like Stranger Things, then I don't know what does. In I Am Not Okay with This, we follow 17-year-old Sydney, who struggles with all the problems of a teenage girl. You know: having a crush on your best friend, family drama, and mysterious powers that she suddenly has to learn to control. Just the usual. Right? Oh, here's another fun fact: this series is also made by the Duffer brothers. So you know it's good.
6. The Midnight Club (Netflix)
We're going to enjoy a group of young people again, only now they are terminally ill. In the hospice, they form a club that tells each other scary stories every night. Eventually, they make a terrifying pact: whoever dies first must send a sign from the grave. Yes, this cannot end well. Believe me.
7. Fear Street (Netflix)
A thrilling, supernatural miniseries with Sadie Sink and Maya Hawke? How Stranger Things-like can you get? In the three-part miniseries Fear Street, they play teenage girls who, along with their friends, are being hunted by a dark force that has been terrorizing their town Shadyside for centuries.
8. Paper Girls (Prime Video)
After a night of delivering newspapers, friends Tiff, Erin, Mac, and KJ suddenly find themselves in a time travel mystery. As they embark on an adventure through different times, they encounter their future selves. Is their fate what they wanted? Or can they still change it? And what is this conflict between time travelers that they have stumbled into? Science fiction and a teenage friendship solving a mystery together: this will drag you through your slump.
Is this enough inspiration? Then you know what you need to do: binge-watch some series. Please.
