Scent is more important to me on a winter sports holiday than on any other vacation. Aside from the fact that I generally enjoy my clothes smelling fresh, scent plays an even bigger role here. Hotel rooms and apartments hold onto everything: the heating blasting, the wet ski socks, that one sweater that just didn’t quite dry. Everything stays a bit damp and lingers in your beautiful pine wood room.
So no, skiing in 2026 is no longer just about speed and fashion on the slopes. It’s all about the bigger picture.
From dancing during après-ski moments to sitting by the fireplace. From cashmere base layers to a hotel room that feels just right as soon as you step inside.
