There is a new docu ‘Worst Neighbor Ever’ again’
This one is also too bizarre for words

Your neighbors probably seem like the most ordinary people ever. Just like you, they go to work, do groceries, watch television, and put the trash can out on the street. But behind some front doors lies much more than you could ever suspect. In the new ‘Worst Ever’ series from Netflix, we therefore do not look at a disturbed ex or housemate, but at the people who live next to you. And believe me: after watching Worst Neighbor Ever, you will look out the window just a little differently when your neighbor rings the bell.
First things first: what is there to see in Worst Neighbor Ever?
In this four-part true crime miniseries, you will see real-life neighbor conflicts that completely spiraled out of control. We are not talking about a neighbor who starts drilling early on a Sunday morning or keeps your packages just a bit too long. It’s about intimidation, deception, and even murder. Each episode covers a different case. Through interviews with victims, relatives, eyewitnesses, and detectives, it becomes clear how ordinary neighbor disputes could escalate so dramatically. It may not sound very serious yet, but these conflicts spiral completely out of control. Just watch:
Episode 1: she finally snapped
In the first episode, we follow Shawna and David Scott. Their lives change when Frances Zaayer, an old acquaintance of Shawna's family, returns to the neighborhood. Because her new home is not ready yet, the married couple temporarily offers her shelter. At first, everything seems fine, but Frances begins to behave increasingly demanding and unreasonable. After various escalations, the couple asks her to leave. She moves to the house across the street, but that does not solve the problem.
What follows is an increasingly intense battle. Frances screams at the family, films them without permission, accuses them of various things on social media, and even calls the police daily. After a physical confrontation, she is arrested and shortly thereafter released. For her, this is proof that she is not taken seriously, and yes... then she finally ‘snaps’.
Episode 2: Midwest Meltdown
In the second episode, not one house, but an entire neighborhood is central. Monserrate ‘Moncy’ Shirley has lived in the Richmond Hill neighborhood in Indianapolis for years when she starts a relationship with Mark Leonard. Although Mark claims to have a lot of money, he turns out to be a con artist with gambling debts and financial problems. Mark devises a plan to get insurance money. Together with Moncy, he fills her house with natural gas, causing it to explode. But that explosion? It goes fatally wrong. The explosion is much bigger than expected.
After the explosion, they pretend it was an accident, and a manhunt for the two begins. Do they really end up in jail? Or do they manage to escape?
Episode 3: Fear Thy Neighbor
Miles and Melina Armstead think they have found their dream home in East Oakland. It is supposed to be a nice place for their blended family, but next to them lives the Thomas family. Initially, the families get along well. That changes when the Thomas family's house is sold, and they have to leave. Jamal ‘JT’ Thomas refuses to leave and secretly continues to live there.
He begins to intimidate the family, as if he is a ghost. He rings the doorbell in the middle of the night, pounds on the door, screams from the street, and even throws bricks through the windows. The couple gets a restraining order, but that does not stop JT. What started as a move ends in a bloodbath.
Episode 4: The Executor
The final episode may be the most bizarre of all. The 71-year-old Charles Wilding lives a reclusive life in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles. His home attracts the attention of Caroline Herrling, who also uses various other names. According to authorities, Herrling deliberately sought out poorly maintained homes in wealthy neighborhoods, hoping to find vulnerable residents from whom she could take money and possessions. In 2020, Herrling and her accomplices break into Charles's home. Charles dies later that year, but the exact cause of his death is never determined.
It even gets so bad that all his money and possessions are plundered. Caroline poses as the administrator of his estate, and yes... the rest is history. What follows is a bizarre battle over money and a murder with a chemical odor.
So be careful what you say during the next neighbor dispute. Who knows, there might be a disturbed lunatic living next to you. Just watch this series first, and then you'll be prepared for the worst.
