First job?

I worked at toy store Bart Smit when I was fifteen for 2 guilders 60 per hour. It was worse than it sounds and at one point I was even fired because I didn't fit in the team, haha. However, I did learn to wrap gifts very well.

Do you have a beauty secret?

I have about a hundred beauty secrets. It's not normal how much effort it takes to still look somewhat pretty at my, ahem, age. But if I had to name one, it would be this: connective tissue massage for your face. Right after the treatment, you already look five years younger. After a course of five, you see dramatic differences. The only problem is that you have to keep it up, because at some point the effect wears off.

A very beautiful bag from Zadig & Voltaire and a real Icelandic sweater of the type: Sarah Lund, eat your heart out.

Australia! My daughter moved there and I miss her terribly. She works as a diving instructor on the Great Barrier Reef and has a really nice boyfriend, so I fear she won't be coming back anytime soon.

Uggs. I really don't care what anyone thinks about this, but Uggs are just the coziest slippers for people with chronically cold feet like me.
