ANNEMIEK HART

One of my guilty pleasures is sneaking into walk-in closets of women who know (and have!) all the latest on fashion trends, styling tips and shopping steals. Shoes, bags, it-outfits, I want that too! This week I’m going to check out the walk-in closet of Annemieke Hart, PR manager at Louis Vuitton Netherlands. Annemieke: “I’m slightly ashamed of myself, now I see the amount of stuff I own.”

STYLE

“I love love love jackets. They can be worn in so many different ways! If I go out for a cocktail with my gals I like to combine them with a J Brand flared jeans and high heels, but for a fancy dinner I could easily throw them over a little black dress. I happen to have lots of cashmere shirts and cardigans. I usually buy them in London at Harrods or Uniqlo in my favorite colors: blue, gray, black and pink. I also like to shop online at net-a-porter.com and lately I haven’t been shopping at Zara that much. I’d rather go to Nikkie.”

FUNNY FACTS

Annemieke likes long necklaces with golden coins, has a blue/black fetish, wears hats very often and her favourite brands are Louis Vuitton and Nikkie.

She already knows which items will be included in the inheritance of her daughter Olympia. Fingers crossed that she doesn’t turn into a tomboy!

BAGS

  • Noé: Especially designed for a champagne house, because five bottles of champagne had to fit in there precisely.
  • Alma: bridge in Paris.
  • Lockit: Very old model and always has a lock.
  • SC Bag: Collaboration with Sofia Coppola. I just had to buy this one, because it’s navy blue and I’m such a sucker for that color. This bag comes from the Parnasséa collection and is perfect for women who don’t like the LV logo.

SHOES

“I store all my shoes in the original shoe boxes. It looks kind off shabby, but it keeps them safe from dust and dirt. On my mini-wedding in Las Vegas I wore white high heels from Louis Vuitton. I was pregnant at that time and I found a beautiful dress in a really funny shop in the Van Woustraat in Amsterdam. But it was strapless and I’m not a big fan of that, so I had to adjust it completely.”

LABOUR AND DELIVERY GOWN

“I bought a really cute pink one with polka dots in New York, but you can easily buy them online. It has snap buttons in the back, which is very convenient in case you need an epidural anesthesia, and they’re very comfy too. The snaps down the shoulders made breastfeeding easy.”

BEAUTY FACTS

“I’m addicted to Dior’s travel make-up sets. I buy one at every airport! I even did my own bridal make-up with one of those little boxes! I also like to use La Mer finishing powder. It’s expensive, but it lasts for ages. When I’m in Paris I always go to the pharmacy. They are like real doctors in there and they have amazing products that you can’t buy in The Netherlands. I always keep Dior Apricot cream on my night table. I rub it into the base of my nails before I go to bed, so they grow smooth and look healthy. It’s magic in a jar.
