Now that the champagne is chilled (it always is, but keeping the turn of the year in mind we’ve stocked an extra bottle or two in the fridge) and the year is truly coming to an end, we’re looking back and noting the most important trends that already happened this year but which will certainly continue to sizzle in 2014.
The set complete made her glorious entrance. And not as a boring mantlepiece but in very outspokenly printed tops and trousers. Subtle is not an option.
The ear piece, we saw Ilse Delange during the finale of The Voice of Holland, but everyone who hungers for trends already had one.
Denim on denim. Honestly, I had to get used to the denim blouse. Especially in combination with denim jeans. Thankfully, the fashion law prescribes that a blouse and jeans have to be of different denim families, which makes it slightly more tolerable for me. A nice belt around it, but really go all the way with a heel and bag, otherwise it’s way too casual.
And there it was again, the Kenzo sweater. Last year already the must-have with the iconic tiger head, this year the show stopper of Fashion Week. Comfortable and in vogue, what’s more to want?
