ZOE KARSSEN GOES BASIC

Zoe Karssen has never been so hot. That’s why many of her designs are copied. But the real Zoe Karssen is no longer recognised by a Batman logo or cheeky text. The Dutch designer recently also designed a basic collection. Lovely grey sweaters, loose fit boyfriend t-shirts and skinny jogging trousers for sale, starting today, exclusively at Net a Porter.

With this new line, Zoe Karssen retreats from her cheeky image she usually sports. In 2010 she launched her first series of tank tops: white with black letters stating “I love  [Chanel sign].” It became an instant hit and all the (famous) cool girls in town, Lieke van Lexmond, Nikkie Plessen and Hanna Verboom to only name a few, were caught wearing it. What started off as a joke became an international success. These days, Zoe Karssen is one of our better export products and her designs are worn by celebs like Kate Moss, Kylie Minogue, Mila Kunis, Cara Delevingne, and Jessica Hart.
