EATING HEALTHilY
Tomorrow afternoon I’ll be in the Vondelpark with my brand new panther Nike running trousers. 1 January, hey? You know, new year’s resolutions… Well, saying is easy, I’ll first have to see how I feel. I really like the idea, though.
But seriously, how the F do all those models survive this time of the year? I really can’t pass up on Christmas bread, turkey, cranberry sauce, cheese fondue, oliebollen or apple beignets.
And I believe that from 23 December onwards, I’ve drank a glass a day. Divine, of course, but now my body craves a bit of love.
Fortunately, there’s this book called Oergondisch genieten.
Wilma Wakker of the eponymous modelling agency sometimes tips this book to a model who wants to loose weight, but has to do so in a healthy way. It’s a cook book with 250 recipes without grains, dairy, sugars, and legumes.
You’d expect that there wouldn’t be anything left to eat, but really, it all looks quite tasty. In fact, it’ll give you a killer body. But okay, I think you’ve still got to hit the gym about 4 to 5 times. It really doesn’t happen just like that. I already got this book on my night stand and tomorrow I’ll start reading it. Really.
