Feeling like a holiday?

Go about it this way

I start the day with a round of What Happened On The Internet. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Daily Mail, Nu.nl, and Bloglovin are all part of the ritual. But also a website that offers me the best airplane tickets accompanied by hugely enticing photos. Which is what I want to talk to you about because not only does that site (the name of which I’ll reveal later) keep me occupied, but I’m also engrossed in the KLM World deal weeks for ages. This week, a lot has gone live and I can get an odd satisfaction out of comparing prices. Right, I’m kind of neurotic like that. Anyhow,  planning your holiday is such a pleasure. Research has shown that people enjoy more pleasure whilst planning their holidays than actually being on them. That’s why, today, some online addresses you can’t skip whilst planning, booking, and searching for a fitting vacance.

1. PAPERFLIES.COM

Tadadadada, this is it! You can look for tickets but they’ll also offer you discounts leaving from Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, and Brussels. Perfect when you want to go away but when you’re not sure where to. Last September I bumped into a ticket to Hi Chi Minh for only 500 euros and decided, I’ll celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Eve there. So Paperflies, bookmark it and don’t ever forget.

2. GENIUSFLIGHT.COM

Similarly brilliant are the people at geniusflight. The first question they pose is: how much money do you want to spend on a ticket? Enter the amount, the date of departure (roughly), and the website regurgitates an entire list of destinationsthat match your budget. Perfectos!

3. AIRBNB.COM

Essential is a list like these. I love Airbnb. Hotels no more (well, sometimes) and just my ‘own’ home. Checking out this palace already makes me happy, or what about this, or this? Or this! Right, I can go on for hours on end.

4. UNLIKE.NET

My favourite website by far for city trips. Divided into places to shop, be cultural, dine, and sleep. All beautiful and great places, choose blindly and you’ll still be good.
