MODELS DU JOUR

The models du jour walked the show du jour, and that’s Diane von Furstenberg’s. The grande dame of New York Fashion Week always has the best frow, the best clothing, and the best models. Karen Elson, Karlie Kloss, and Bette Franke, for example. But also, which makes us terribly happy, eight black models.

More diversity on the runways is something we can only cheer on and praise. So, hurrah for Diane, and hurrah for Cindy Bruna, Joan Smalls, Jourdan Dunn, Malaika Firth, Anais Mali, Binx Waldon, Mariana Santana, and Maria Borges. Hurrah!
