Jenny Peckham SS15

As already mentioned in a previous article, we visited the Jenny Peckham show in New york this week. This label is by far the most well known as purveyor of the most beautiful wedding dresses, but her red carpet dresses are also a dream to behold. This show again showcased some stunning dresses that were reason enough to try to hook that prince for once and for all. The inspiration for the show was undeniably Marilyn Monroe. “She’s still so relevant, what she wore doesn’t date” the designer told us. Marilyn was seen in the clothing but mostly in the hair, big waves and shiny sexy hair. It oozed glamour, had Hollywood written all over it and was very, very attractive. My favourites were a yellow strapless dress and an aubergine-coloured pants suit with stones on the breast. Marilyn would have been proud.
