George and Amal are married, but you probably new that already, since every single website has written about it. And no wonder, because George saying “yes” is world news. The wedding ceremony did not last longer than 20 minutes, but they booked three days out to celebrate with 100 guests. Jet and I were wondering about Anna Wintour’s absence from the Céline show in Paris, but that was because she was in Venice. Along with Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, Cindy Crawford and Emily Blunt.

They stayed at the Hotel Cipriani, the most beautiful and most expensive hotel in the city, and were then transferred to the Aman Canal Grande Hotel, which has 7 stars.

There was plenty of drink; Clooney and his best friend and best-man Randy Gerber have their own tequila brand called Casamigos and they had 100 cases flown in by jet to Venice. The whole thing cost around 13 million dollars. THIRTEEN MILLION. We think that’s a lot. Oh well, better too expensive than too cheap and I sincerely hope they stay happy for a very long time.
