TRIP DOWN SEX AND THE CITY

You’re going to hear it quite often, but Amayzine’s fashion editors are going to New York Fashion Week. When I heard the news, I just about bounced from the ceiling with excitement and all I can think about these days is New York. With every piece of clothing I consider buying, I ask myself whether I’d also wear it in New York. Last weekend, I came back from Vietnam and in order to pull myself through my jet lag, I put the shoebox of Sex And The City in the dvd player because the episodes can be rerun endlessly and besides, there isn’t another series that features New York more prominently. Carrie’s outfits, even though they’re already 10 years old in the final season, continue to inspire me. And what about the men. Oh the men. The men! Yes the men. You can imagine my happiness at finding Buzzfeed’s overview of all, all the men that ever appeared on SATC. There’s of course Mr Big, Steve, Smith, and Harry, but do you also remember Skipper Johnston? And Aleksander Petrovsky? Dr. Robert Leeds? Spring Roll Guy? Marathon Man? Derek aka The Bone? Scrolling through the list is a true trip down memory lane, and I can really recommend you to take the time to shake hands with all 107 men.
